Nothing is true … Everything is permitted.
Kidding.
1.) Racial or sexist comments or such verbal abuses will not be tolerated. You will be deleted immediately. However, if your character possesses these personality traits, it will be considered excused as long as the people you are RP-ing with are okay with it. This will earn you a warning the first two times, then suspended, and then deleted.
2.) No religious battles. If you want to have a discussion and you can have a civil conversation about beliefs, then we will ignore it. If it gets out of hand and either one or both parties are being disrespectful, they will be suspended for 24 hours to cool their heads.
3.) Elementary, my dear Watson, but be respectful. And by respectful, I mean acknowledge and show consideration to all people and all of his/her posts. You'll get one warning, then a suspension, and then you'll flat-out be deleted.
-- Though, if you can't say anything nice, it's best not to say anything at all.
4.) Before posting, check for typos and read ALL posts before yours to ensure continuity. If you feel that you are a special case (ie: English is not your first language) PM us, the Admins, and you will be excused. Crazy typos, text speak, lol-speak, and random posts that don't make sense will earn you a warning.
5.) Post more than 3 complete sentences. Okay, c’mon… There’s no excuse for short and sloppy work. You will be warned and your post will probably be deleted because it's probably useless.
6.) Don’t powerplay. Keep characters in character and remember that you are not superhuman. This is not fantasy magic world. If you can’t do it in reality, then you can’t do it here. Extraordinary is not being super human, but being an ordinary person who can rise above the harsh situation thrown at them with grace and intelligence…. Or luck. This results in a warning.
7.) Don’t spam. No advertising for other RP sites or your own. We’ll advertise affiliates. If you’d like to suggest a site for us to affiliate with, then tell us. Don’t do it yourself. This will result in a warning.
8.) You can’t become a character that already exists in a zombie-oriented media or be his/her relative or friend. (IE: Nick from Left 4 Dead 2, Tallahassee from Zombieland, or Keith, Ellis’s friend from Left 4 dead 2.) This will earn you a warning the first two times, then suspended, and then deleted.
9.) You can’t base your character completely off a celebrity or icon. (Chuck Norris, Clint Eastwood, Bruce Lee, Storm, ect.) You can take ideas and a ‘template’ so to speak from either their looks or personality, but you can’t have both. This will earn you a warning the first two times, then suspended, and then deleted.
10.) No hitch-hiking. If you were not invited into an RP, you can’t post in it. Doing so will result in a warning. On the first post, all people who will be involved (even in the future) should be listed. As long as the names posting there matches up with the names on the first post- you're good.
11.) No copying another member’s character or RP. By that I mean the same rules that apply to the celebrities or icons. Though, it may be a little more sensitive rule because... Seriously?- at least pretend you’re creative and have a sense of morals and honor. This will earn you a warning the first two times, then suspended, and then deleted.
12.) No double-posting. If you need to, ask permission from us and we will are probably going to give you the green light. But just ASK first. Ignoring this results in a warning.
* If you are in a solo RP, you post 3 times in a row and 3 only. But, these 3 posts can be as long as you want. You can make each post so long it takes up the whole page. We don't care. Though, you might as well write a fan fiction at that point.
** The Journals are exempt from this rule. You can post there as many times in a row as you want. But, it's not an RP- it's more of a summary of what your character has done since joining and perhaps the history from you bio.
13.) You will put an honest rating before the title of your RP: IE “T-EDA”
K= no language or adult themes T= mild language and themes M- strong language and adult themes.
There are people here who don’t appreciate language and we do want to cater to them and be respectful of them. If you are disrespectful to these people in any way, you will be warned on the first offense, and then suspended for 24 hours.
It’s not nice and completely rude and unnecessary.
14.) Your bio must be approved before posting. The admin that is in charge of your class will be the one approving the bio. Ignoring this rule results in a warning. Also, while only that admin's approval is necessary, you may want to wait until the other three admins comment on it as well. This ensures that your bio, before you even started RP-ing, was completely and irrefutably okay'ed and thus, will always be perfectly acceptable on this site.
15.) Romance... We do allow adult themes... We've said as much. Want to fall in love and have... Some moments with another character, fine. We don't care. But- for any romance, you will do it in a separate RP with just you and the other person. We ask this because it's really awkward for the other people in your RP. If you've been in that situation, it's just weird. So, just put it in a separate RP.
Second condition on this- there is no need to go into super detail on your little night together. If you attempt to do this, your story will be interrupted by an atlas. No joke. So just don't do it.
16.) Your character cannot be half zombie. But- your character can have the disease and be turning into one. However- if your character has the disease, they will HAVE to DIE. The disease must progress as the RP's go on. No matter your story, the disease has to have already started setting in. There is not a set time limit, per say, but if we feel like you've been alive WAY too long and you need to end it, we will PM you. You can't fight the disease off and there is no cure. No one can help you.
*Also note, that you can break the weapon rules for your class for your character's death scene. But they still have to die.
17.) It will be harder for us to enforce this rule, but you can't have more than 4 characters at one time. You can one for every class or whatever floats your boat, but we don't want you going overboard.
*Note: If two of your characters are closesly related and are always together, you don't have to make a seperate account. You can just put the other character's name on the post somewhere... Either the topic title or just at the very top of the post in bold or something really noticable. This will serve as an 'exception' to the double-post rule.
*Understand that these rules are subject to change. As new problems arise, rules will be added and edited. All current members after a rule change will be “grandfathered in”, but after that you will be subject to the consequences.
** Also note that once you reach 50 warnings, you will be suspended for 48 hours. Once you reach 100, you will be deleted. Warnings aren't as harmless as you thought, huh.
